BE A PART OF HISTORY!

Wesley Weaver serves as Secretary of ATA 202, bringing over two decades of experience in technical systems, military leadership, and nonprofit operations. A U.S. Navy veteran with 11 years of service, Wesley rose to the rank of First Class Petty Officer (E-6) as a submarine-qualified Nuclear Machinist’s Mate. He also held roles as a DOD LAN Administrator and Engineering Laboratory Technician (ELT), serving aboard the USS Alaska (2003–2006) and USS Henry M. Jackson (2006–2009), where he acted as Department Administrator in addition to his technical duties. He later worked as a Radiological Control Technician at NRMD Bangor before transitioning to civilian leadership.

A longtime member of the Comanche community, Wesley has been involved since before the turnover to the current ATA 202 foundation. His historical knowledge, strategic mindset, and willingness to dig into the technical weeds make him a vital part of both the board and the broader mission.

From 2016 to 2025, he founded and led Penumbra Group Inc. as CEO, building and managing systems until choosing to retire early at 43. That “retirement” is more like a redirection: Wesley is currently continuing his computer science studies toward a PhD, and may return to industry as a CTO if the right mission calls him back.

Wesley’s path hasn’t been easy—he grew up homeless and fought relentlessly to build a stable life. Today, he owns two homes outright and devotes his time to ATA 202, his studies, and being a father. You’ll often find him on board Comanche with his 15-year-old son, Archaidan, passing on the knowledge, grit, and legacy that define his work.

Driven, direct, and deeply systems-oriented, Wesley brings a unique combination of engineering precision, lived resilience, and strategic vision to everything he does.

Wesley lives by two mottos:
“Do now that which can be done now” — a discipline of action over delay — and
“Solem verum dicere” (“Speak only truth”), which he has tattooed down his chin and neck as a permanent reminder to confront all things directly and with integrity. These principles guide his leadership, his work, and his life.
