BE A PART OF HISTORY!

I am a highly accomplished Art Director and Graphic Designer with extensive experience in creative design across diverse industries. My expertise encompasses large-format printer, art design, logo development, website design and maintenance, booth artwork, and vehicle wrap designs. I possess a robust background in graphic design, production, and strategic collaboration with merchandisers and freelance artists.

Throughout my career, I have partnered with industry-leading companies such as Maui & Sons, Dink Volleyball, NHS Skateboards, Bell Helmet, Cisco, Apple, Disney, and Hanna-Barbera.

I launched my graphic design career at Pacific Coast Silk Screening in Milpitas, California, where I designed retail lines for prestigious brands like Mervyn's, Macy's, Natural Wonders, and J.C. Penney. From 1990 to 1995, I excelled as a top designer for young men's and boys' lines at Spectra Vest in San Bruno, California, where I developed complete garment designs and executed print separations. One of my designs notably graced the cover of a children's fashion magazine. I subsequently advanced to West Tee Graphics in San Jose, California, starting as an in-house artist before rising through the ranks to become Art Director and eventually Operations Director. In this role, I doubled the facility's production and optimized departmental efficiency.

After leaving West Tee Graphics, I established my own retail print shop, where I secured licensing from the San Jose Sabercats Arena Football Team. Following the sale of that business, I relocated to Oregon and founded a computer repair and networking company, which I successfully led for 15 years. I later transitioned to creating an escape room and haunted attraction, which I currently manage.

Service in the Coast Guard:

I proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1978 to 1983, stationed aboard the USCGC Comanche as an E-4 Radarman. When the Comanche was decommissioned on January 30, 1980 (my 21st birthday), I was reassigned to the 12th District housing office until my enlistment concluded. My commitment to the Comanche was reignited through a Facebook post from Joe Peterson, who was in charge of her at the time. I volunteered to contribute to her care and upkeep and have since taken on the role of Vice President of the ATA 202 Foundation, dedicated to preserving the Comanche.

During my Coast Guard service, I also trained as an EMS working out of Redwood City, California. In 1984, I pursued a BFA at The School of Visual Arts in New York, further solidifying my professional foundation.

I am highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Dreamweaver, as well as WordPress. My skill set spans graphic design, cartooning, and cross-platform work on both Mac and PC systems. I am dedicated to delivering innovative and impactful designs that not only resonate with audiences but also meet and exceed client expectations.
